Deomali Hills

The highest in Odisha, located in Koraput, these dreamy hills can’t merely be described in words. One needs to visit to really witness its divine grandeur and panoramic views which it offers. Mahendragiri Hills

If you’re getting that true mountain-calling, then Mahendragiri Peak is the place to be. Surrounded by various mythological legends, this second highest peak of Odisha, is also a paradise with impressive treks to explore and a haven for medicinal plants. It can get strenuous to reach the destination but the views are rewarding.

Langudi Hills

Located in Jajpur District, here you can explore the remains of a Buddhist centre of learning that flourished till 11th Century, along with rock-cut Buddhist stupas and shrines atop the hill. Moreover, you can sight both history and spectacular views here. A rare and interesting tourist spot to be at!

Devagiri Range

What’s unique and spectacular about this Hill Range is that unlike other hills, the top of the hill is a rectangular platform. Not just that, the 476 steps to reach the hill-top further adds to its uniqueness. Situated in the Rayagada District, visiting here will be an unforgettable experience.

Niyamgiri Hills

Tucked in the districts of Kalahandi and Rayagada in the south-west of Odisha, these hills are renowned for plenty of reasons. Besides being the home to Dongria Kondh indigenous tribe, the hills are surrounded by pristine forests, and its tales of bauxite mining have been known for long.

Gandhamardhan Hills

Situated in Odisha’s Bargarh District, this hill-range is most renowned for its medicinal herbs, rich biodiversity and rare flora as well as fauna. Believed to be the hill which Lord Hanuman carried on his shoulder to save the life of Lord Lakshman, a trek to these hills will be truly enriching and enlightening.

Deuli Hills

These rock-cut twin-hills in Odisha’s Khordha district are most fascinating to sight, as it preserves ruins from the earlier monuments of Grand Stupa, along with some authentic laterite rocks. Malayagiri Hills

Situated near the Kendujhar district and a good destination for hikers, these hills form the third highest peak of Odisha, rising gorgeously to a height of 1187 metres. Daringbadi Hills
