After refreshment visit
  • to the ancient temples & beautiful examples of Kalingan school of architecture - Parsurameswar temple (built in 7th century AD- small but beautiful temple ), Mukteswar Temple( 10th Century), Lingaraj Temple (11th Century ,perfect example of Hari Har cult )-the biggest temple in Bhubaneswar (Non-Hindu are not allowed inside the temple premises so view from adjoining elevated platform erected outside ), Rajarani Temple (11th Century).
Afternoon visit to
  • Khandagiri and Udaygiri Caves made for Jain monks in 2nd Century B.C. after that Odisha tribal museum.
Overnight stay at Bhubaneswar.
Morning after breakfast
  • Check out from Hotel visit to Sun temple at Konark – The world heritage site managed by UNESCO .The temple was built by King Narasimhadeva in the 13th century, it is counted among the 7 wonders of India, famous for its magnificent erotic works and sculptures on Life. It is also known as “Black Pagoda” to westerners.

  • Dhauli Shanti Stupa, where a modern peace pagoda and ancient rock edicts mark the emperor Ashoka’s conversion to Buddhism.
After that
